Viettel High Tech's Coastal Radars: The 'Guardian Eyes' Accompanying the Navy to Safeguard National Sovereignty

Month 06,  04/2026

Amidst harsh weather conditions on coastal heights and remote islands, coastal surveillance radar systems developed and manufactured by Viettel High Tech are proving highly effective, providing vital support to the 451st Radar Regiment under Naval Region 4 in safeguarding the national maritime sovereignty.

Operating in rugged, high-altitude terrain across the South Central Coast region, officers and soldiers of the 451st Radar Regiment constantly face a severe climate, ranging from scorching sun and fierce storms to persistent salt fog. Despite hardships in living conditions, driven by the elite military spirit of "entering the equipment room means entering combat positions," the on-duty watchkeepers strictly maintain 24/7 combat readiness routines.

Playing a pivotal role in helping these soldiers fulfill their missions are the coastal surveillance radar systems from Viettel High Tech. Operating resiliently in highly corrosive environments characterized by high salinity and heavy winds, these radars—designed by Viettel High Tech's engineers—have proven their structural durability and operational reliability in the field. The systems ensure the capacity to scan, detect, track, and accurately report parameters of all maritime targets, enabling Vietnam People's Navy sailors to maintain tactical initiative under any circumstances.

The deployment of domestic radar stations independently developed by Viettel High Tech has significantly enhanced the surveillance and maritime domain awareness capabilities of naval units. At the same time, it serves as a clear testament to the synergy between defense technology innovation and the sacred mission of defending the Fatherland's sovereignty and continental shelf.
