Viettel High Tech Signs 5G Equipment Trial Agreement with Leading Middle Eastern Telecom Operator

As part of MWC 2025, on the afternoon of March 5, 2025, Viettel High Tech officially announced a 5G equipment trial partnership with Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du), one of the leading telecom operators in the Middle East.

This collaboration marks a major breakthrough in Viettel High Tech’s global expansion strategy, reinforcing Vietnam’s technological capabilities on the international telecommunications map.

In the initial phase, the trial will be conducted on du’s advanced network, focusing on two key areas: the 5G OpenRAN public network and 5G Private Network solutions. The deployment of Viettel High Tech’s cutting-edge 5G solutions aims to meet the growing demand for network capacity and ultra-fast data speeds while laying the groundwork for next-generation applications, including smart cities, immersive VR/AR experiences, and industrial IoT innovations.

This strategic partnership further solidifies Viettel High Tech’s position as a key player in the global 5G industry, paving the way for expanded cooperation in the Middle Eastern market and beyond.
