General introduction

The Viettel Site Router 100G is purposefully engineered for deployment within the transmission infrastructure of 5G networks, incorporating cutting-edge technologies tailored to the access layer of metro networks to seamlessly accommodate the demands of 5G application services. Moreover, the Site Router 100G serves as a comprehensive traffic aggregation equipment, adeptly managing the convergence of traffic flows of 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile radio networks, fixed access systems, enterprise networks, and transmission networks from various vendors. Viettel Site Router 100G has been successfully deployed in 4 provinces within Vietnam.

  • Supports Layer 2 (IEEE 802.1, IEEE 802.3), Layer 3 (OSPF, BGP, RIP v1/2, PBR) protocols.
  • Support IP/MPLS (L2 VPN, L3 VPN).
  • Support IPv6, OSPFv3, BGP4+, IS-IS, IS-IS multi-topology extension and segment routing.
  • Support system management, authentication and authorization via console port, Telnet, encrypted VTY access with SSH/SSH2, TACACS+ server.
  • Support Multicast feature (PIM SM, PIM SSM, PIM DM).
  • Support time synchronization (IEEE 1588v2, SyncE) and G.8273.2 BC accuracy at least Class C.
  • Support End-to-End service recovery for < 200 ms.
  • Being compatible with site routers of other vendors.
