The simulator meets STCW requirements for basic and advanced vessel-operation training, including GMDSS and BRM/BTM. It operates in a full-mission projection environment with a 6-DoF motion-base system that recreates realistic vessel movement. The system is DNV-ST-0033 Class A certified, the highest classification for maritime training simulators.
Training Requirements
- Familiarization with maritime equipment such as GPS, AIS, echo sounder, and speed log.
- Vessel handling and maneuvering in open and restricted waters.
- GMDSS radio-communication training.
- BRM/BTM training.
